"Just Go With It" is a very silly comedy about a plastic surgeon whowants to hook up with a voluptuous teacher so he asks his assistant topretend to be his ex-wife and for her kids to be his kids. Why wouldanyone go through all that to hook up with a female? Two words:Brooklyn Decker! The "she is out of everybody's league" famed SportsIllustrated model plays the stunning teacher Palmer. Oh, and these tworelatively unknowns Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston play the plasticsurgeon Danny and his assistant Katherine, just go with it. I actuallythink that Director Dennis Dugan's masterpiece "Just Go With It" shouldbe nominated for a plethora of Oscars for next year's ceremony, and bethe first comedy to win a Best Picture Academy Award since "AnnieHall". Come on, I am having some fun, just go with it! Let me go backto the narrative of "Just Go With It". Because of plastic-lies surgeonDanny's continuous lies & fabrication, a lot of silly stuff transpiresin the movie which leads the film's characters into Hawaii, even thoughthere was not much Alo ha ha ha in those scenes. Now there were a fewthat I went with and made me chuckle, but not nearly enough. Sandlerand Aniston looked like they were simply just "going with it" tocollect a paycheck. News Flash: Decker is not the second coming ofMichelle Pfeiffer but she is sure one that could cause many othersecond comings, we will just leave it at that. Nick Swardson'sperformance as Danny's cousin Eddie is deserving of the MOCAT Award, that would be playing the "Most Obnoxious Character of All Time"; eventhough I have to admit that his sheep scene was not a piece of  .(well, you know). Oh, and Tom Cruise's ex also shows up in this onealso; and I am not talking about Mimi Rogers, Katie Holmes (eventuallythat will happen), or Ms. Scientology (look at last parenthesescomment). I am not kidding, Kidman is in this movie, and is not a cameoeither. "Just Go With It" was actually scribed by two screenwriters,Allan Loeb and Timothy Dowling. I guess it does take two to make a wordthing go wrong. OK, it was not that bad, there were a few zingers hereand there that made me laugh; but again not nearly enough! If you donot take it too seriously and take it for what it is, "Just Go With It"might just pass go with you. But if you are expecting an authenticwitty comedy, then simply don't go with it. *** Average

I loved this movie. I thought Adam Sandler would have fell off by now but this was a great movie. From the little kids to the annoying friend, everyone was funny and great actors and actresses. I could watch this over and over. I would reccomend to anyone looking for a good laugh.

Amidst the wreckage of Just Go With It, Aniston and Sandler have a real chemistry. They should go elsewhere with it.

This is a romantic comedy which I have seen after days, which hasactually the elements of comedy. You would laugh your stomach out. Thestory-telling is so nice that even though every thing seems quietpredictable, it still grips you to the end. The acting was superb, Imean, Aniston, Sandler have both done a great job. I especially likethe raunchy double-meaning dialogues which will make you laugh all thetime. Brooklyn has also done a good job playing a role of a nice lady.Watch out for the curves and big coconuts of the ladies and the yellowbikini. Some scenes are quiet romantic and the chemistry between theactors are great. In short, if you want a funny and romantic movie tospend your time," Just go with it" is a perfect choice. You won't getbored!!!

Here's the story of an Indian movie "maine pyar kyun kiya": This movieis clearly copied from the Indian one.Samir (Salman Khan) is a very successful doctor: He not only looksafter his patient's various maladies, but also looks after his femalepatients' hearts. Most women fall for him and his irresistible charms. The only person who has not fallen for him is his dutiful nurse Naina(Sushmita Sen).Whenever a girl gets too close to Samir and starts talking aboutmarriage, he sends her off by telling her he is already married. However, one day, he meets Sonia (Katrina Kaif), a beautiful youngwoman and Samir is smitten. He lies to her about having a wife, but themarriage is failing. When she learns of his 'wife', she wants to meetherÂand Samir introduces Naina, as well as her niece and nephew, as hiswife and children.Samir then arranges a fake divorce from his fake wife with the help ofhis best friend, lawyer Vicky (Arshad Warsi) who, despite having asteady girlfriend (Ishaa Koppikar), frequently flirts with Naina. Tocomplicate things further, Samir's mother (Beena Kak) suddenly appearsand doesn't want her son get divorced from Naina (when he isn't marriedto her in the first place). And then, there is Sonia's neighbor Pyare(Sohail Khan), who does not want Sonia to marry Samir: he wants Soniafor his own and she seems to like him, too.The web of lies around everyone grows thicker and thicker, but finally,Samir is able to persuade Sonia to marry him. But before the altar, shemakes him realize that she isn't the right wife for him; that he is inlove with Naina who has proved her love since she played along, pretending to be his wife. Samir agrees and rushes to the airport, because Naina wants to escape to Canada, while Sonia gets married toPyare. At the airport, Samir manages to arrive in time: he convincesNaina to stay and she agrees.taken from wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maine_Pyaar_Kyun_Kiya%3F

Unfortunately, you have to give it at least one star to do the review. Darn it. It was a very, very long movie with no laughs. Here comes that zero again. Jennifer and Brooklyn were easy on the eyes but both were wasted on this no laughs comedy. No chemistry between Jennifer and Adam either. I would give the writers a zero as well.Rent or buy something else....anything else. You have been warned.

This review is from: Just Go With It (Amazon Instant Video) I have to say, I really didn't want to see this movie. My father kept pushing me to watch it saying it was really funny. I finally caved and saw it. What. A. Surprise. I enjoyed this movie so much, I watched it twice, laughing just as hard the second time. Nick Swardson and his Austrian identity was HILARIOUS. "Sheep Shipper"- haha, I'm laughing just thinking about it. The acting was solid. Both Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler were great. The two child actors that played Jennifer Aniston's kids were so talented. Nicole Kidman also made an unexpected appearance as Jennifer Aniston's frenemy. I HIGHLY recommend this movie for people who want something to make them laugh for 110 minutes.

fake british and german accents - over the top acting - two dimensional characters and an unbelievably bad story, being a woman jennifer aniston in a bathing suit didnt improve the movie for me, unlike it apparently did for the other 1 star reviewer. I love a chick flick as much as the next girl but this was just bad from start to finish, surprised aniston and kidman agreed to act in the film

Mostly, Just Go With It offers scenes of Aniston and Sandler deceiving Decker, whose inability to see through fabrications that wouldn't fool a canny toddler suggest she might be suffering from some kind of undiagnosed neurological disease.

... Sandler does to Cactus Flower (1969) what he did to Mr. Deeds, and once again the result isn't pretty ...

I got to see this gem in theaters because my girlfriend wanted to see it. Suffice it to say it is predictable garbage that hollywood keeps ramming down our throats. As always Adam Sandler plays the same dumb role he plays in every single one of his movies. You will chuckle a couple of times but the comedy seems to be aimed at 12 year olds. The plot makes no sense at all and the ending is just magically resolved. The only saving grace is that it gives Jennifer Anniston an excuse to be in a bikini in hawaii. The only way this movie would have been watchable is if Jennifer Anniston was actually nude in it. Thanks again hollywood, I have no idea who demanded this movie, for shame...

This movie is okay. Definitely not worth ordering on demand but okayfrom redbox or something. Pros: Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, NicoleKidman, beautiful Hawaiian scenes, all the women have fairly healthybodies and are not anorexic skinny, even the young woman Cons: poorwriting, weak plot, mediocre humor, annoying accents, casting notbelievable (child actors look nothing like Jennifer Aniston, NicoleKidman's spouse ugly,) horrible hair & wardrobe choices, too much makeup on Jennifer & horrible black roots on everyone, kids use languagecompletely inappropriate for real kids and in real life would make hera horrible mother, like "fornicate" and the little boy says he watches"Californication"

It had to happen...the pairing of my least favorite actress with theuntalented Adam Sandler, whose career has mystified me even since Ifirst saw him on SNL. Here they are, hemming and hawing their way thruan unscripted string of under-rehearsed comedy sketches whose unifyinglink is their crass lack of originality and pointlessness. This moviegenerated 0.0 of the warmth a romantic comedy should. I despised ALL ofthe characters from the opening moments until the credits rolled. Iguess United Airlines wanted to show a movie that would equally offendand not entertain everyone on the flight. I like smutty jokes andsexual humor if it's funny but this was a big nothing. If anyonewonders why our schools are out of control and falling apart, you couldlook to a film like this to understand how we suffer if this is what ispawned off as entertainment............. Quit grinding out movies likeCorned Beef Hash and write a script...go to rehearsal...learn to act

Well now, my review hath disappeared. Let's give it another shot, shallwe? Adam Sandler plays a surgeon who flies to Hawaii accompanied by hisassistant (Aniston), whom he asks to pose as his ex-wife. Don't ask.Ultimately, he plans to marry his girlfriend (Decker), who is 20 yearshis junior. While in Hawaii, Aniston runs across an old college foe,the haughty (and barely recognizable) Nicole Kidman, and pretends to bemarried to Sandler to tweak her rival. Complications obviously ensue.Lots of funny bits, including an hysterical hula contest that turnsinto a showdown between Aniston and Kidman. We have to pretend thatAniston isn't the most attractive woman on Earth, as her character hereis divorced and has two children. She and Sandler have wonderfulchemistry, I might add. And the ending is a hoot. Good movie forgrownups, which is rare these days.

This review is from: Just Go With It (Amazon Instant Video) A cute movie but not Emmy performances by the actors, who I know are capable of much, much more. But if you would like a light romance, this will fit the bill perfectly.

From my wife Sarah: If you want to have fun, relax and have some laughs, this very entertaining movie is just the thing. I stayed away from it for quite a while because of the mixed reviews. When we had run out of movies to see in the theater, we chose this as a last resort. It was so enjoyable! Don't wait to see it. I won't go over the plot as it's already been done by others, but here's what I liked about this movie:1. It was funny. Okay we didn't laugh non-stop, but that's because there was a real plot, with real character development. Still there were many very fun surprises and big laughs. I smiled through much of the movie. 2. Sandler was great, Jennifer Aniston was great. Not only are they funny, but they can really act. The entire cast was really good. Sandler's goofy friend sidekick was hilarious, the children were dynamic and funny. Kevin Nealon had an absolutely hilariuos bit. Nicole Kidman was perfect as Jennifer's competitive and not so nice friend. 3. The plot was very different and interesting. Although there's a kind of predictable ending, it's still a fun ride to get there. The only thing I would have liked to see just a bit different was more heat between Sandler and Aniston. While their relationship was really developed and believable, they didn't seem to have that strong chemistry. Regardless, I strongly recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys comedy as well as romantic comedy.
