Wonderful Memories Relived

Italy "From Tip to Toe" is the best travel program that I have everseen. We regularly watch Samantha Brown, Rick Steves, and even GlobeTrekker, however, Francesco outdoes them all. Last summer my family and I began an Italian journey similar toFrancesco's. We began in Milan, then Venice, then we traveled all theway to Sicily. It was wonderful to relive the places we visited, and tosee so many that we had never visited nor knew existed. I think that isone reason we like this series so much, he visits places that are noton the regular tourist pathway as well as the well known places. Wewill buy this video when it is offered.

wonderful documentary

Francesco da Musto is a writer and has done several documentaries andthis "italy top to toe" is just one of them.Having watched some episodes on TV a few years back I decided to buyall the DVDs of his documentaries. Having just watched the Italy Top toToe one I had to write how wonderful it is. It is pleasantly written and presented. Goes to different interestingplaces both known and off the tourist track. I like Francesco's styleand putting humour and historical facts into a documentary withoutmaking it a boring school educational video is indeed very clever. I have been to Italy and seen some of these places but it makes onewant to visit more often. He takes us to places not normally meant fortourists and can get in and film because they are a family friend. Itis nice to get an insider's view of Italy as he is Venetian. More please Francesco!
