Death Valley 69
Death Valley '69 is a video for the Sonic Youth song of the same name. The song origionally appeared on the "Bad Moon Rising" album from way back in 1985, at about the same time as Kern was making those Super 8 gross-out masterpieces starring the lovely "Lung Leg" - I swear I'm not making this up - who later graced the cover of the SY album "EVOL." There is a great gorey sequence in the DV '69 music video that looks like pieces of liver or stomach (or something...) plopted down in front of a very crudly "killed" Steve Shelley (SY's drummer at the time the video was shot). Their First Mistake
Mrs. Hardy is irate that her husband Oliver spends more time with his friend Stanley than with her. Oliver decides to adopt a baby, hoping that it will keep his wife occupied so that he and Stanley can continue to carouse. But upon returning home with the infant, they find a process server with a divorce summons, and spend a sleepless night caring for the squalling baby.

Towed in a Hole
Laurel and Hardy are in the fish business. They drive around town seeing if they can sell any. Stan suggests they catch their own fish and could keep all the profits when selling them to people. Ollie likes the idea so they buy a boat at the junk yard and try, sometimes unsuccessfully, to fix it up. When the boat is finally fixed up, the whole operation goes south.

Song of the Birds
Little Audrey causes too much havoc indoors with her toy gun, so Mammy sends her outside. A little bird just learning to fly is her first victim, but when the bird's mother mourns over it, Audrey feels remorse. The animals stage an elaborate funeral for the little bird. But during the funeral, some rain falls on it, and revives it we discover it was only stunned. Audrey smashes her gun and tries to befriend the birds.

County Hospital

Homecoming
Mike was the star quarterback in a blue-collar small town where football is everything. Neptune Nonsense
Felix is feeding his various pets: a bird, two dogs, and a goldfish. But Annabelle the goldfish is unhappy; she's lonely. Felix sets out to catch her a friend. The fish drag him underwater. After a bit of searching, he finds a goldfish, but the fish cries for help, and Felix finds himself on trial before King Neptune. He's accused of wanting to eat the fish, but after he explains himself, Neptune gives him a fish from the fish orphanage, and everyone lives happily.
